For most markers in this package, fasting is recommended (8 hours), particularly for magnesium and cortisol. We recommend having your blood drawn in the morning between 7 and 10 o'clock.
Preferably not, intensive training temporarily raises creatine kinase and cortisol. We recommend avoiding extreme exertion for 24-48 hours before the measurement if you want a reliable baseline value.
A single measurement is sufficient for initial insight. For competitive athletes, 2-4 measurements per year is common.
Creatine supplementation can temporarily raise creatine kinase. Please let us know about supplement use so we can take this into account.
Yes, the package is suitable for both. Our doctor assesses values according to sex-adjusted reference ranges.
With a plant-based diet, lower iron and B12 values are more common. This package gives insight into whether supplementation or dietary adjustment might be worthwhile.
